This panel will feature a discussion of pre-World War II race relations which simmered uncomfortably across the nation with notable, and some little-known incidents. It will focus on the struggles of Black professionals in Grand Rapids, the Tulsa Massacre of 1921, and the rise of militarization of the police and their infiltration of white supremacist militia groups.

The event will be moderated by Brian Conybeare, Anchor, ABC57.
